Last of Summer
My high school friends and I spent the last day of my summer in a decent amusement park. Star City, was, enjoyable in fact, being the last time I've been there-- a decade ago. Story goes, they drop by my house and caught me off-guard, totally unprepared and it was all spontaneous, really. Told me to get dressed and we'd be heading off to Star City and enjoy ourselves. And there we went. Not much people, I think because it was scorching hot outside, but it didn't matter. Vomited a bit after a few snacks, and subsequently, a few rides.
We spent until 10pm in there, until we deemed each one too nauseous to go ride another one. So we left and tried the seaside for a place to have dinner. Walked the whole stretch and found MOA instead, and ate at Pepper Lunch and had ice cream... and Starbucks. If you think we'd have ended our bourgeoisie tendencies there, we figured that Solaire was a few kilometers to MOA, and we drove there to check it out. Chris missed the turn going to Solaire, and we'd been on the road to Tagaytay all along. We turned back, and finally arrived into the hotel-casino. It felt like Vegas in there. Nice place, but I think people are just wasting their time with their gambles. Very legitimate, but I prefer Resorts World more. Not being 21, we could only explore the non-casino sides of the place, which wasn't too elaborate.
At the end of the night (or start of the morning), we decided that it was enough YOLO and went home. It proved to be a good last day of summer.
